Lacrosse parents,
Two important notices for this coming Season!
- Weather related issues and Practice Cancellations: This year we will have two mechanisms to notify Parents and the players about weather related practice cancellations. We have an arrangement with the CA Maintenance Department to be notified by 12:30pm as to the field condition. If at 12:30 there is a need to close fields and thus cancel practices we will take two actions:
a. We will close the fields on the website, which will send an automated message to all effected teams and their players and parents emails and (if setup by the user) associated cell phones by text message.
b. We will maintain “MSC Practice Is ON” and “MSC Practice is OFF” signs near the Lower School and Middle School Principal’s offices. The signs will be updated by 12:30pm to reflect the field status.
Please make sure your player knows to check the signs by the Principal’s office and knows what to do in the case of practice cancellation.
If you would like to receive automated Cell Phone Text messages with this information please visit
www.mustangsportsclub.org and select “Edit my Account” from the home page. Use your email and password to log in, once logged in select the member’s name whose information you are updating and update the cell phone # and cell service provider information.
- CA’s Aftercare Program. Once again CA parents and students have the option to use the aftercare program for the period between the end of school and start of practice. Attendees will be supervised by aftercare professionals; can get their homework done and once all school work is completed can spend time outdoors sharpening their stick skills with other players.
